Lemon Essential Oil

Neutralize odours in the air by diffusing lemon

Apply 1 drop to dissolve anything sticky

Apply 1 drop to the bridge of nose and deeply inhale to dry up a runny rose

Add 2 drops to a large glass of water for the cleansing effect of limonene in lemon

Add 1-2 drops to homemade salad dressing

Add 1-2 drops to warm water, manuka honey, and fresh ginger to combat a cold

Add 2 drops to your dishwater for crystal clean glassware

Mix 5-6 drops with water and vinegar in a spray bottle to cleanse and purify surfaces. For stainless steel, mix lemon essential oil with olive oil for best results

Mix a few drops with water in a spray to keep your cut fruit fresh until serving

Make a leather and furniture polish with a few drops of lemon combined with a few drops of olive oil

Add a few drops to dryer balls to freshen laundry

Lavender Essential Oil

Add 4 drops along with 1 cup Epsom salts to your bath water for an ultra-relaxing experience

Mix three parts Fractionated Coconut Oil with one part Lavender essential oil to help clear up skin irritation

Apply a few drops to a burn or scrape to soothe skin irritation, reduce redness and ease swelling

Diffuse lavender before bed for a more restful sleep

Rub 2 drops on the bottoms of the feet for a more restful sleep

Add a few drops to a pillow to help with sleep

Sprinkle a mixture of 1 cup baking soda and 10 drops of lavender essential oil over your mattress. Allow the mixture to sit for one hour then use the vacuum to clean it up. You can combine with drops of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Clove, or Rosemary as well.

Use after shaving to soothe and soften skin and to lessen the redness and burning caused by razor burn

Apply a few drops to the temples and back of neck to ease anxious feelings and stress and promote mental clarity

Rub a few drops mixed with coconut oil onto an itchy tummy while pregnant

Add a few drops to soap or laundry detergent for aromatherapy and antimicrobial properties

Peppermint Essential Oil

Dilute a drop with Fractionated Coconut Oil and place under your nose to support open airways and help you breathe easily

Keep a spray bottle of water with a few drops of Peppermint essential oil nearby in the summer when you need to cool down

Use a drop in water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse

Add 1 drop of peppermint to lip gloss tubes

Add 2 drops to palm of hand, rub hands together, then cup hands and inhale deeply to invigorate lungs and increase alertness when feeling tired

Apply a few drops to neck and forehead to relieve tension

Add a few drops to fractionated coconut oil and rub into sore muscles and joints to soothe discomfort

Rub on the stomach or take internally for occasional digestive discomfort

Diffusing Peppermint will help reign in the urge to snack on junk food. It’s a good way to control appetite and to feel full faster

Inhale Peppermint straight from the bottle to perk up on long drives

To feel energized before a work out, apply a bit of Peppermint to the temples and back of neck or take a deep breath straight from the bottle

Add a few drops to shampoo to stimulate your senses in the shower and help with scalp health

Oregano Essential Oil

Put 1-2 drops in water for immune support when fighting off a cold or infection. *Note for short term use only

Put 1-2 drops in water to combat foodborne illnesses while traveling

Apply one drop of Oregano with 6 drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil to the feet or toenails to combat fungus

To help keep your home clean, mix 3 drops of Oregano with water in a spray bottle and spray it in corners of the shower, sink and other damp and dark areas

Frankincense Essential Oil

Use a drop of Frankincense with 3 drops of carrier oil or lotion for more youthful, radiant looking skin

Rub Frankincense on your hands after a long day of gardening or working to calm inflammation

Apply 1-2 drops to your temples and the back of your neck to help improve concentration

Apply a drop of Frankincense to strengthen weak nails

Diffuse in the room or massage a drop onto the chest or back of the neck to relieve anxious feelings and promote a calm and uplifting mood. It has been used to calm expectant mothers during pregnancy and labor

Add 2 drops to a warm bath to calm the nerves and promote relaxation

Mix 1-2 drops in water to promote healthy cellular proliferation

Tea Tree Essential Oil

Apply 1-2 drops after shaving to prevent any skin irritation

Apply 1 drop to blemishes to soothe and heal the skin

Combine 10 drops with ½ cup baking soda and ¼ cup vinegar to clean the toilet and bathroom

Add a few drops to laundry detergent to get rid of any musty smells caused by poor ventilation

Cut a paper towel roll in half and place it in a storage container with 2 cups warm water, 2 Tbsp fractionated coconut oil and 3 drops each of Tea Tree and Lavender. When the liquid is absorbed, remove the cardboard roll and pull wipes from the center

Mix a few drops with Fractionated Coconut Oil, Lavender, and Frankincense to make a diaper paste for baby’s irritated skin

A few drops of Tea Tree can remove permanent marker from the skin

Mix a few drops in water and spray on your mattress pad when you change the sheets

Apply a few drops to clean scrapes and other skin irritations

Diffuse Tea Tree or rub a few drops on the bottom of the feet for immune support

Apply directly to the feet and toenails after showering, swimming or exercising in public, high traffic areas to combat foot fungus

On Guard Essential Oil

Apply directly to your teeth and gums (or add a drop to your toothpaste) to soothe irritated gums

For a clean toothbrush, store it overnight in a small glass of water with 3-5 drops of On Guard

When you take out the garbage, spray down your cabinet with a mix of On Guard and water to remove odours. On Guard Cleaner Concentrate (my favourite!) is also excellent for this purpose

After your oven’s self-clean cycle, spray a mix of water, On Guard, and Lemon essential oil onto the oven interior. This will clear up all of the greasy smells as well as the smell of the oven cleaner

Mix 5-6 drops with a half cup of baking soda to clean your bath tub and skip all of the harsh, bleaching chemicals

Mix 5 Tbsp aloe vera gel, 4 Tbsp water, 1/4 tsp Vitamin E oil and 8-10 drops of On Guard in a small squeeze bottle to make your own hand sanitizer for traveling

Add a few drops to your wash during the rinse cycle for extra clean laundry

Diffuse On Guard anytime you are concerned about catching a cold or flu

Mix 1-2 drops in water to boost the immune system while traveling or around others with a cold or flu

Mix 2 drops of On Guard with 2 drops Lemon essential oil and manuka honey in a teaspoon to soothe a sore throat

Easy Air Essential Oil

For a more restful sleep during seasonal respiratory discomfort, diffuse Easy Air blend at bedtime or keep a roll-on bottle by the bedside, in the car or your purse. Roll it on the chest, bottom of feet or under the nose as needed

When congested, put 2 drops in a sink of hot water. Then, place a damp towel over your head and inhale deeply

Apply to chest and under nose before exercising to invigorate and enhance breathing during your workout

Put a drop on the filter of a CPAP machine for even more support during the night

Zen Gest Essential Oil

Mix 1-2 drops with fractionated coconut oil in the palm of your hand and massage onto your stomach when experiencing digestive distress

Put 1-2 drops in a glass of water to ease digestion when traveling and eating out

Diffuse in the car to help prevent car sickness

Apply 1 drop to the temples to help relieve tension and sinus pressure.

Use 1-2 drops in 4-6 ounces of water as a mouth rinse if you’ve eaten a meal with strong smells, like garlic, onion, or curry

Deep Blue Essential Oil

Rub on muscles and joints before and after exercise to reduce soreness and discomfort

After long hours on the computer, try rubbing Deep Blue essential oil blend on the shoulders and neck to recover and ease muscle tension

Deep Blue is great for those who spend long hours typing on a computer. Just massage into the hands, fingers and wrists when needed

Massage Deep Blue with a few drops of carrier oil onto the legs before bedtime to help with occasional aches associated with growth spurts

Use several drops with carrier oil for a therapeutic deep-tissue massage.

Massage Deep Blue into the area when experiencing muscle cramps
