There is nobody regulating this, so it’s important to do your research.
To speak to the concern you might have about doTERRA being sold through the network marketing model …
You first have to think about where your perception of this business model was formed.
Was it that friend you hadn’t talked to in 10 years that suddenly kept messaging you to try and recruit you?
Everyone has a story around this topic.

When we inhale an essential oil, the aromatic molecules interact with the olfactory (smell) receptors in our nose, which then link directly to the limbic system of the brain. The limbic system is a part of the brain where our emotions and memories are stored. This connection causes a rush of feelings and emotional response to the aroma based on any memories that are associated with that smell. Recent research has shown that we also have olfactory receptors in our skin, so we are also activating those receptors when essential oils are applied topically to the skin.
Understanding the unique chemical profile of each essential oil allows us to choose specific essential oils to trigger desired emotions and help us manage our mood. For example, Wild Orange contains limonene which causes an uplifting effect and can be used to promote energizing and elevating emotions. Roman Chamomile contains alpha-pinene which causes a calming and antidepressant effect and can be used to promote soothing emotions.
Have you ever smelled a scent that instantly brought up a specific memory or emotion?
I will never forget the first time I smelled Cedarwood essential oil. The smell instantly connects me to my father. I grew up living in a separate household from him and would visit him every third weekend. Saying goodbye was always a challenge for me and would involve me burying my face full of tears into his chest. Guess what he smelled like when I hugged him?
Essential oils are an important tool in my tool kit for supporting my emotional health each day. I use essential oils in my exercise routine and meditation practice to cultivate specific emotions. I use them in my office for focus and lowering stress. I use them in my car to stay calm when I’m stuck in traffic. I use them in my sauna and before bed to help me relax and sleep.

Did you know the average home is 5-10x more polluted than the air outside?!
Since we aren't able to see the environmental pollutants indoors the way we can often see outdoor pollutants, they're hidden. According to the Environmental Protection Agency and the Environmental Working Group, the compounds found in cleaning products, air fresheners, cosmetics, carpets, furniture, electronics, and plastics in our homes contain chemicals that are linked to serious health issues.
I used to be a cosmetic junkie. I had a bathroom FULL of beauty products. I spent thousands of dollars over the years on body and face washes, toners, serums, masks, lotions, sprays, shampoos, conditioners, and makeup. The Huffington Post released an article stating that the average woman puts 515 synthetic chemicals on her body every day without knowing, and it made me realize I was one of those women. Not only was I putting synthetic chemicals on my body every day, I was also exposed to toxic chemicals by cleaning and taking care of my home.
Those chemicals wreak havoc on our bodies.
In an effort to balance my hormones and reduce the toxic burden on my body, I slowly transitioned to using more natural products. To become a wholesale customer, you can open up your access by either purchasing a starter kit which has the wholesale access pass bundled in. Will I have to purchase monthly?

So you are buying your essentials oils through me rather than through the CEO of Walmart or Amazon. How do I start ordering through the rewards program?
Just log in to your doTERRA store and click 'create new LRP', choose your monthly ship date and then add whatever items you'd like to receive in your box this month. You can click 'ship now' and then you can go back in and edit your cart with what you would like to receive next month. Make note of the ship date you chose so that you remember to login and edit your monthly order each month. Do I have to order a certain amount each month?
You actually only have to order 1 product a month to stay in the rewards program. But if you'd like to earn the free product points, you would want to place at least a 50pv order each month.
